Information we collect

Information you provide

Account email, authentication credentials or third-party sign-in identifiers; profile and team claim information; typed signatures, signer roles, release acceptance records, license-verification information, uploaded photographs and related metadata; notification and email choices; and information submitted through support, correction, partnership, or contact forms.

Race and public-source information

Names, classes, teams, bike brands, race numbers, event participation, timing, rankings, points, results, photographs, video links, and similar competition information obtained from race organizers, timing providers, governing bodies, public sources, partners, or direct submissions. Official competition records may exist independently of an iMTB account.

Technical information

IP or network address, request time, browser or device type, operating system, app version, crash or diagnostic information, security events, session identifiers, push-notification token, and website analytics. We use these records to operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the service.

Location and health data

The current Race Chase service does not request continuous GPS tracking, precise background location, Apple Health, or comparable health data. If a future feature uses those categories, we will provide a specific notice and request permission before collection. Declining an optional permission will not prevent access to unrelated core features.

How we use information

  • Provide accounts, results, rankings, profiles, team pages, notifications, support, and requested features.
  • Verify identity and authority to claim a racer or team profile.
  • Moderate submissions; prevent fraud, impersonation, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Create approved headshot cutouts and publish approved profile materials.
  • Communicate service, claim, result, live-coverage, and opted-in editorial updates.
  • Maintain signed releases and other records needed to establish rights, consent, transactions, disputes, or legal compliance.
  • Aggregate and analyze service performance and audience engagement.
  • Comply with law and protect users, events, partners, iMTB, and the public.

Sharing

We may disclose information to infrastructure, hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, email, push-notification, security, support, and image-processing providers acting for us; to event, timing, governing-body, media, or sponsor partners when needed for an authorized feature or approved use; in a corporate transaction; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate misconduct, or protect rights and safety. Providers must handle information consistently with their role and applicable law.

Public profiles, rankings, results, teams, approved photos, and other information intended for publication may be visible to anyone and may be indexed, copied, or reshared by others. We do not promise that third parties can retrieve every copy after publication. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Retention and deletion

Account and operational information is kept while needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period for security, backup, dispute, and legal purposes. When you delete your account, we remove the account, sessions, active claims, claim photos, push registrations, and associated preferences, subject to technical completion and lawful exceptions.

Signed releases, signature evidence, the exact agreement version, acceptance time, integrity hash, and related transaction evidence are retained in a restricted legal archive for as long as reasonably necessary to establish or defend the rights granted, resolve a dispute, or meet legal obligations. Official race results and historical competition records may remain because they are factual event records rather than account content. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Your choices and rights

You can manage notifications and marketing email choices in the app, request a correction, withdraw optional permissions through device settings, or delete your account in My Account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. We may verify your identity before acting. Contact aw@usasportinc.com.

Children and junior racers

The account service is not directed to children under 13, and a child under 13 may not create an account or submit personal information. Junior race results may appear as public competition records. A parent or legal guardian must submit and sign a profile claim for a minor. If you believe we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without valid parental authorization, contact us promptly. We will investigate and delete or otherwise address it as required.

Security and international use

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. The service is operated from the United States. If you use it elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers, subject to applicable safeguards.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when legally required. Questions, privacy requests, or complaints may be sent to USA Sport AZ Inc., Attn: Privacy, at aw@usasportinc.com.
